SPRING RAINBOW OUT OUR FRONT DOOR
Nestled in the Moreno Valley surrounded by beautiful mountain peaks is the small, quaint village of Eagle Nest. Eagle Nest is a small western town with gift shops, restaurants and a saloon. Located on the edge of town is the 2,200 acre Eagle Nest Lake and State Park which offers excellent trout fishing, boating and salmon snagging in the fall. Ice fishing is popular in the winter months.

The Cimarron River runs out of Eagle Nest Lake through Cimarron Canyon State Park which also offers excellent stream trout fishing and spectacular views. Campgrounds and hiking trails are offered within the State Park.
